benefits brokers and agents. The founders of Piney Creek Digital bring a combined experience
of more than 30 years in the employee benefits industry.
In addition to their employee benefits experience the founders have three years of
digital tools experience in an industry that is only five years old. During their employee
benefits careers, Brooks Bergner and Mick Billstein gained significant expertise in the
sale, service and logistics involved with distribution of employee benefits to SMEs.
They understand the complex benefits environment and the unique relationship the
employee benefits brokers have with their SME clients. From their experience in this
venue, the PCD founders have identified a number of complicated, paper intensive
transactions and business processes that lend themselves well to the efficiencies
digital tools create.
From this experience PCD developed the idea to craft a suite of digital tools that would add value to the broker and SME relationship and also would provide significant enhancements to the productivity of both sides of the relationship. The experience Bergner and Billstein have in the target market enables them to clearly identify the key value propositions that must be satisfied for digital tools to be successfully deployed by employee benefits brokers and agents.
